Ivie Burns practices commercial litigation. 

Before joining Riley & Jacobson, Ivie clerked for the Honorable J. Daniel Breen of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. He earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, he served as an Executive Editor for the Tennessee Law Review, as well as an Acquisitions Editor for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. He received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in his courses for legal writing; name, image, and likeness law; trial practice; and civil pre-trial litigation. 

Ivie earned his undergraduate degree in History and Pre-Law from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Originally from Eagleville, Ivie is a native Middle Tennessean.
